 Building of Magnificence in Dhaka.
Old East Pakistan High Court Building 

This is the magnificent building constructed by the British Indian Government in the year 1905 for the residence of the Governor General for newly created province of East Bengal and Assam, but could not be used as such due to annulment of partition of Bengal.Later it used as Dhaka Intermediate Collage,later as some government office and ultimately as the High Court of East Pakistan,subsequently as the office of Ministry of Defense till 2006 and now being used as the court of 'International Crimes Tribunal' from  2012.

The above photo was taken in the year 1969 when High court of East Pakistan was operative and the Supreme court of Pakistan sits occasionally in this Building. See the Pakistani Flag hoisting at the top.

Compare the extended roof on the 1st floor extension, which is absent in the 1st photo (1969),instead there was a tin shed.The year of this modification is unknown.

Beautiful Wooden Staircase to 1st Floor ,refurbished in the year 2011
 before turning it as International Crimes Tribunal.
This was the dilapidated condition of  the Building in 2008 just before refurbishment done for the purpose of International Crimes Tribunal
